SIAMS Report - October 2023 - Please see the full report

We are very proud to share our recent Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) report. The Statutory Inspection of Anglican and Methodist Schools (SIAMS) is the Church of England and Methodist Church’s outworking of the requirements of section 48 of the Education Act 2005. It is a key element of the life of all Church of England and Methodist schools in England.

SIAMS explores ways in which each school’s theologically rooted Christian vision drives its work and enables the school to live up to its foundation as a Church school.

This is a true reflection of our wonderful school - thanks to our children, staff, governors, parents and wider community.

'Being part of St Stephen’s caring and loving school community is transformational. The lives of pupils and adults are enriched because of leaders’ unswerving determination to ‘build each other up in love and learning’. Every child’s talent is discovered and fostered through the many rich opportunities provided by the school.'' - SIAMS Inspectors

RESULTS

We are delighted to be able to report our children’s excellent achievements: exceeding the national average in all areas.

You can see how well we are versus national results by clicking on the file below.

We are immensely proud of the children and their accomplishments and we are particularly delighted that so many of our children attain standards above expectations. Similarly, we have great pride in the progress of those children that may not have attained the expected or higher standards, but who are continuing to improve as they pass through each stage of the school. Our staff worked extremely hard to ensure the children were prepared for these assessments and we also appreciate the support that all our parents provide, to reinforce this at home.
